About us
The Music, Emotions and Cognition Research Laboratory (MUSEC Laboratory) is a part of BRAMS (International Laboratory for Brain, Music and Sound Research), which is affiliated with the University of Montreal and McGill University. Led by Dr. Nathalie Gosselin, Neuropsychologist and Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology of the University of Montreal, MUSEC studies the effects of music on the brain and on well-being. Our research focus particularly on the impact that listening to music has on cognitive abilities, emotions and stress.
