Research Interests

I am a hard-working, versatile, curious and passionate professional artist and student. Graduated in psychology from the University of Ottawa in 2015, I am currently a PhD candidate in neuropsychology research and intervention at the Université de Montréal.

For my thesis project, I am investigating the impact of different sound environments on cognition among general population and on a population with an attention deficit disorder with or without hyperactivity (ADHD). I am working at the International Laboratory for Brain, Music and Sound Research (BRAMS) and the Laboratory for Music, Emotion and Cognition Research (MUSEC), and I am a student member of the Centre for Research on Brain, Language and Music (CRBLM) and the Centre for Research in Neuropsychology and Cognition (CERNEC).

I also participate in collaborative projects on subjects like the emotional judgment of music, the emotional effect of the movement on music, autism and music, as well as the cognitive processes involved in reading music, piano pedagogy and piano finger gesture.
